Accounting Support Technician

We're looking for an Accounting Support Technician to join our support team and help our customers solve technical and accounting-related questions. This is an entry-level, full-time position ideal for someone with a working knowledge of accounting concepts and a comfort level with technology — even if you didn’t get a degree in it.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide support to users of our accounting software via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
  • Troubleshoot common issues and escalate complex bugs to the dev team
  • Translate customer questions into clear, technical answers
  • Learn and document new workflows as our products evolve
  • Work closely with the Support Manager and broader team to improve our knowledge base and support processes

What We're Looking For

  • Strong multitasking ability — you’ll juggle priorities and keep things moving
  • Comfort with computers and tech — especially using software to solve problems
  • Interest in accounting — understanding ledgers, reconciliations, or industry practices is a plus
  • Problem-solving mindset — you enjoy figuring things out and piecing together puzzles
  • Team player — you’re collaborative and thrive in a fully remote environment
  • A love for learning — we will provide the training needed to perform that task. You will have a whole team at your disposal to guide you through your learning process.

Qualifications

  • Some coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or IT is preferred
  • Previous customer support, helpdesk, or accounting operations experience is a plus
  • No degree required — if you’ve done the work, we want to hear from you
