Minimum SQL Server Requirements
OS: Windows Server 2003 or later
Memory: 2 GB
Hard Disk: 40GB (not including OS)
SQL Version: SQL Server 2008 R2 Express or later

Recommended SQL Server Requirements
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
Memory: 8 GB
Hard Disk: 100GB in a RAID1

Terminal Server Guidelines
If you’re using a remote desktop server to access the SGA software, you’ll need to scale the specs according to how many possible users may be concurrently accessing the system. If you’re using the SQL Server as the remote desktop server as well, you’ll need to increase CPU power and memory accordingly.
CPU: 2.0Ghz Quad-Core or higher
Memory: 4GB + (User count x 200mb RAM) Example: 8GB for a 20 user server

Workstation Requirements
Windows XP or later. Windows 7 x64 recommended.
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or later
Screen resolution 1024 x 768 minimum. The larger the resolution, the more data you will be able to view on screen.
1440 x 900 or higher recommended.
Remote Desktop Version 7.0 or later required if using RemoteApp.

Network attached printers using toner cartridges are recommended.
All-In-One USB ink printers are NOT recommended.

If the SGA software process is running on your local workstation and not through a remote session, you will have the capability to scan documents directly into the system and attach files accordingly. If you’re running through remote desktop, your scanner will not be recognized by the remote server without the aid of additional 3rd-party software, such as Tricerat’s Simplify Scanning or Dell’s RemoteScan. Please note, all scanners used with SGA must be bundled with a TWAIN driver.

Microsoft Office
Microsoft Excel 2007 or later is required to be installed on every workstation and server that uses the SGA software in order to take full advantage of all features. The Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 is required to be installed for imports, and Word 2010 or later is required for exporting purchase orders. OpenOffice is a compatible free alternative to Microsoft Office, but has some limitations.

PDF Reader/Writer
PDFs give you the ability to save, print, email, attach, search, and store your reports wherever and however you wish. Each workstation and server will need a reader and writer installed for this functionality. Adobe Reader is recommended to open and read PDF files, and some good PDF writers are Cute PDF, PDF995, Win2PDF, and Adobe Acrobat.

We provide support via phone and email from 8-5 EST. If you need online support through a screen sharing session, we can use programs such as GotoMeeting, Teamviewer, JoinMe, LogMeIn, or any other program that you’re familiar and comfortable with.

SGA requires backups to be run nightly onsite and offsite, and a history kept for at least a week, a month is recommended. SGA offers to provide encryption and ftp transfer of backups offsite to SGA servers in addition to the customer’s normal backup routine at no additional cost.
